The Access Convoy has hit the streets!
From the 3rd to the 10th September, the Jaccede team rolled into the Occitane region, bringing with them public events as well as initiatives to get owners of businesses to add their own establishments to the guide, all across the region, from Montpellier to Toulouse.
- The Convoy made stops in Montpellier, Blagnac, Perpignan and Toulouse to bring public events open to all, so get ready for some action on accessibility!
The general public was invited to add all the accessible places they find en route to the guide, by roaming the streets with smartphones and the Jaccede app.
- In Albi, Auch and Cahors business owners were encouraged to add their own businesses to the guide.
At each stop Jaccede hosted a press briefing, at which we randomly selected a self-referenced business in the host city. This business received a personal visit from the Jaccede team, and a video article in their honour, which soon will be shared across our networks.
With the same positive and socially engaged values as always, Jaccede continues to promote the accessibility of our towns and cities, and we can all play a part in making life easier for people with limited mobility.
This was only the first of many outings of our Access Convoy! Which region will be next?
Together, let’s make the world a more accessible place!
